We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Clinical Scientist to join our innovative research and development team. As a Pre-Clinical Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our therapeutic candidates by conducting pre-clinical research, including animal studies, assays, and data analysis. You will be responsible for assessing the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and safety profiles of our drug candidates, contributing to the successful progression of our pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Clinical Research: Design, plan, and execute in vivo and in vitro pre-clinical studies to evaluate the pharmacology, toxicology, and efficacy of drug candidates. Experimental Design: Develop experimental protocols, including dose-response studies, pharmacokinetic studies, and mechanism-of-action investigations, ensuring alignment with project goals. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze experimental data, applying appropriate statistical methods and tools, and present clear, actionable insights through scientific reports and presentations. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including toxicologists, pharmacologists, and regulatory affairs professionals, to drive pre-clinical development and regulatory submissions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate, detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and protocols in compliance with good laboratory practice (GLP) and industry standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pre-clinical studies comply with ethical standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal protocols. Literature Review: Keep up to date with the latest research, techniques, and industry trends to inform experimental design and methodological improvements. Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify challenges in experimental setups and results, troubleshooting and optimizing procedures as needed. Qualifications: Education: PhD, Master’s degree, or equivalent in Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-clinical research, with a strong understanding of animal models and pre-clinical drug development processes. Technical Skills: Expertise in laboratory techniques such as PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry, and in vivo methodologies. Data Analysis: Proficient in analyzing complex data sets using statistical software and data visualization tools. Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and standards (e.g., GLP, FDA, EMA). Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
