Job Description We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting virtualized Windows Server operating systems in a global multi-data center enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and administration of Windows Server environments, managing and optimizing Windows Server security, permissions, and policies, configuring and maintaining Windows Clustering and SQL Always-On Availability Groups, working with PowerShell scripting and automation to enhance system efficiency, and collaborating with teams to improve server performance, stability, and security. Key Responsibilities: - Support and administer Windows Server environments - Manage and optimize Windows Server security, permissions, and policies - Configure and maintain Windows Clustering and SQL Always-On Availability Groups - Work with PowerShell scripting and automation to enhance system efficiency - Collaborate with teams to improve server performance, stability, and security Required Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline - Extensive and recent experience supporting virtualized Windows Server operating systems in a global multi-data center enterprise - Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) - Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, SCCM, etc.) - Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, WinRM - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, including NTFS permissions and file system utilities - In-depth understanding of DNS/OpenDNS, DHCP, DFS, and Printer management in a Windows environment - Experience working with Microsoft Domain technologies (GPOs, OUs, LDAP, Security Policies, Trusts, Directory Replication) - Strong expertise in Windows Clustering technologies, especially SQL Always-On Availability Groups - Experience with VMware hypervisors (vSphere 7.x, 8.x, vCenter) is a plus - Knowledge of Illumio and micro-segmentation in server environments Benefits The successful candidate can expect a range of benefits, including: - A competitive salary package - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities - A collaborative and dynamic work environment - A comprehensive employee benefits program Others This is a full-time role that offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals.
