Job summary We're on the hunt for a seasoned PMP and Agile pro to lead our fantastic app development teams. This isn't just any role; it's a big one You'll be the go-to person for planning, getting things done, and making sure our mobile and web apps are delivered successfully. We need someone who can keep us on track, hit our goals, and always deliver top-notch quality. You'll be our champion for all things Agile, using your project management smarts to keep things running smoothly, get everyone working together, and help us get better every single day. Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or something similar. A Master's? Even better - You absolutely need to be PMP (Project Management Professional) certified. No ifs, ands, or buts - And you'll need a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or another equivalent Agile certification too - At least 7+ years of project management experience, with 3-5 of those years specifically leading software development projects (especially mobile or web apps). - You've got a solid track record of delivering complex software projects, whether you're using traditional methods or Agile. - You really get how the whole software development process works, from start to finish. - Strong leadership, great communication skills, awesome with people, and a knack for negotiating. - You can inspire and motivate teams, help solve problems, and get everyone on the same page. - Comfortable with project management and Agile tools (like Jira, Asana, Trello, Azure DevOps). - Experience handling risks, managing budgets, and planning out resources. - You're a fantastic problem-solver and decision-maker. Responsibilities - Leading Projects & Getting Them Done: - You'll be in charge of multiple app projects, from start to finish. Think on-time, on-budget, and super high quality – that's your jam - Work with folks to figure out what each project needs and what we're aiming for. - Put together solid plans, schedules, and make sure we have the right people for the job. - Spot any bumps in the road early and smooth them out so projects keep moving. - Keep an eye on how things are going, share updates, and keep everyone in the loop. - Being Our Agile Guru: - You'll be a huge fan and coach for Agile ways of working (like Scrum and Kanban) across all our development teams. - Run our Agile meetings (sprint planning, daily check-ins, reviews, retrospectives) like a pro. - Help teams work together, figure things out on their own, and always look for ways to improve. - Guide teams on how to make their backlogs awesome, write great user stories, and nail their sprints. - Helping the Team Grow: - You'll mentor and support our product owners, scrum masters, and the whole development crew. - Create a positive, fun, and high-energy team vibe where everyone thrives. - Help everyone communicate well and sort out any disagreements. - Figure out what skills the team needs and help them learn new things. - Making Things Better: - Always be on the lookout for ways to make our development process even better, learning from what we do and what's new in the industry. - Find and use tools that make it easier to see what's happening with projects and track our progress. - Push for initiatives that help our team work faster, smarter, and more predictably. - Keeping Everyone in the Loop: - You'll be the main point of contact for everyone involved in our projects – product folks, designers, engineers, and even our senior leaders. - Share project updates, talk about any challenges, and celebrate our wins clearly and simply.
