Responsibilities: - Perform a full range of tax activities for an assigned organization to optimize the tax position. - Lead various assignments, clarifying objectives and determining appropriate principles and techniques. - Coordinate the preparation of tax returns and examine accounts. - Calculate taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations by required deadlines. - Collaborate with tax advisors to optimize tax burdens. - Manage or contribute to the preparation of financial statements and tax declarations. - Act as the first accountable point of contact for tax authorities, researching and analyzing key issues independently. - Provide technical tax advice and assistance to financial accounting staff. - Prepare reports and studies for management as needed. - Correspond and negotiate with tax officials at a tactical level.
