Join to apply for the Business Intelligence Developer role at Filterbuy Position: Business Intelligence Developer Location: Remote in Colombia Duration: Full-time, Permanent Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with deep expertise in SQL and database management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and developing advanced reports and dashboards. They should be proficient in data modeling, query tuning, and analytics using BI tools. This role is remote and will report to the CFO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and reporting. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Optimize database queries and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize database queries to enhance performance. Required skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Certification in BI tools or related fields is an advantage. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is an advantage.
