We’re looking for a seasoned WordPress Developer to help us manage and grow complex multisite environments across multiple clients. **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead development for WordPress multisite environments, including custom theme and plugin development - Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices - Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues across various networked sites - Maintain version control using Git (GitHub or GitLab), with disciplined commit hygiene - Integrate third-party APIs and configure advanced WordPress plugins - Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and UI/UX concepts into functional, responsive pages - Optimize sites for speed, accessibility, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility - Stay current with WordPress updates, PHP standards, and plugin ecosystem changes **Qualifications**: - 5+ years of WordPress development experience, including extensive work with multisite installations - Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and REST APIs - Experience building and maintaining custom themes and plugins - Familiarity with hosting environments like WP Engine, or Pantheon - Proficient in Git version control and collaborative workflows using GitHub or similar - Ability to debug complex WordPress issues using browser dev tools, Query Monitor, etc. - Comfortable working with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), WPML, Gravity Forms, and similar plugins - Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg, Beaver Builder) is a plus, but not required **Technical Skills**: - Experience integrating CI/CD workflows - Familiarity with Composer and modern PHP development practices - Understanding of headless WordPress and JAMstack principles is a plus - Experience working in an agency environment or with multiple clients simultaneously - Problem-Solving Aptitude: Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions promptly. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to coding and testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables. **How to Apply**: Please submit your resume, a cover letter detailing your relevant experience, and a link to your GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing your best work.
