Job Overview TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts. Role Statement Responsible for sales in Distributors, and Utilities markets, selling all TE Product Lines for Cable Accessories, Connectors, Products for the Asset Protection of Distribution Networks, Smart Grid, Substation and Transmission Networks, developing new customers and actively looking for new opportunities. Key tasks of the job: Develop and achieve sales forecasts while meeting key performance metrics. Establish and build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders. Develop an understanding of the position of the customers in the market, their products, points of difference and competitive landscape. Understand the TE Energy portfolio and help internal and external customers to select the right products. Generate demand by identifying opportunities within assigned territory through specifying TE products and conducting trainings, technical presentations, and seminars. Participate in defining technical solutions in accordance with customer and product specifications, recommending actions to company or customer representatives for product solutions. Prepare commercial bids/tenders/proposals, negotiate contracts, and close agreements maximizing profits while working with BDM, PMs, Product Specialists, and Application Engineers. Follow up on contracts and purchase orders while collaborating with Customer Care, Operations, and Finance areas. Qualifications & Specialist Training Required: Degree: Electrical Engineer, preferably complemented by a degree in Administration or Sales. Foreign Language: Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English. Skills: Capable of giving technical and sales presentations; excellent communication and sales acumen; must be able to specify products and discuss technical applications with customers. Able to carry out field demonstrations of products and provide hands-on training to customers. Potential for growth within the organization as a Regional Sales Manager. Experience Required: Overall experience of no less than 5 years as a Sales Engineer or Account Manager, managing key accounts, selling electrical products in Distribution Channels, Electrical Contractors, and Utilities. Particular Skill / Aptitude Required: Proven work experience as Key Account Manager. Solid experience with Salesforce software. Excellent negotiation and written and verbal communication skills (listening/speaking). Friendly demeanor with persuasive abilities and assertiveness. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Product and industry knowledge. Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Straightforward, personable, and active.
