Whether you possess a background in finance, technology or Mathematics, your experience in the capital markets industry would be of high interest to us. **Responsibilities**: - Testing responsibilities would include, but not limited to: - contribution to creation of a Test Design Document (TDD) and own testing outcomes at the project level - Interaction with all up and downstream parties involved in testing - Build and manage personal Test schedule - Manage and resolve testing conflicts - Work closely with the analysis team to ensure clear testable acceptance criteria are part of the defined requirements - Ensure that we have full traceability of test cases back to requirements - Ensure that we understand test coverage at each stage - Plan the project test strategy, within the guidelines + constraints of the program test strategy - Define the project test environment requirements, and work with the Environments - Configuration Management team to ensure that those environments are delivered - Define the project test data strategy, and prepare common test data (working with the program test data lead) - Ensure that regression and automation tests are delivered along with (or asap after) the code release, and incorporated into future test phases including regression testing - Participate in Quality Assurance reviews as required - Interface with governance via the Delivery Management Meeting and Functional Management meeting - Work with Program Management to plan and flex tester capacity and skills to meet project needs - Work with program management to ensure the program can supply the necessary capacity and capability to staff and execute the various test cycles **Skills**: Must have - Strong understanding of Test Management and its life cycle - Strong understanding and ability to formulate a full Testing Cycle - Strong experience with MXTest suite - Good product knowledge - Strong understanding and experience in working with stream key stakeholders - Good understanding and some experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle - Strong analytical and conceptual skills - Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail - Strong presentation skills - Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally - Strong experience in supporting RISK users and resolving their daily issues Must: - 2+ years experience with Murex (...focus on Testing) - Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills - Must be able to direct/manage large distributed teams - Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter - Possess good verbal and written communication skills - Must have strong organization skills Nice to have - BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics or equivalent - Murex Test management - Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; FEM migrations, MXplus updates and MX.3 main-branch upgrades - Trade life cycle management - Market Data management - Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus - Client focus: understands clients' businesses; identifies and understands the needs and objectives of clients, both on an individual and corporate basis; builds strong relationships to aid Excelian's aim of being a trusted partner to the clients. - Communication skills: expresses ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing; adjusts language, terminology and non-verbal communication as appropriate. - Teamwork: works effectively with others; helps to build strong teams and networks. - Personal leadership: realistically identifies own skills, experience, knowledge and other personal attributes; displays confidence and resilience. - Planning and organizing: identifies and meets milestones; understands and articulates deliverables; assesses and mitigates risks; sticks to the scope of work and manages any changes. - Analytical decision-making: identifies and solves problems using insight and experience to make good decisions; gathers relevant information, identifying important issues and drawing conclusions. **Languages**: English: C2 Proficient **Seniority**: Regular **Relocation package**: If needed, we can help you with relocation process.
