About the Role: We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Video Producer to join our dynamic video production team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and production of high-quality video content for live-action and animation projects. As a key client-facing point-of-contact, you will work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, creative, production, etc.) to translate brand messaging into compelling and engaging video stories. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualization and Storytelling: Develop and execute creative video concepts that align with client strategy and marketing objectives. - Scoping: Create production budgets and production plans to support concepts. - Write scripts, storyboards, and shot lists. - Develop budgets and timelines effectively. - Source and select talent (actors, voiceover artists, etc.). - Coordinate with production crews (camera operators, editors, sound engineers). - Production: - Oversee all aspects of video production, ensuring smooth and efficient execution. - Ability to source crew and production resources for shoots - Ability to identify and source production equipment needs for shoots - Ability to direct on-set shoots, providing clear and concise instructions to talent and crew. - Collaborate with editors to ensure the final product meets the highest creative and technical standards. - Ensure all videos are properly formatted and optimized for various platforms. - Project Management: - Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and staying within budget. - Track project progress and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders. - Project Development: - Assist the sales team in creating budget estimates and concepts for projects - Ideate creative concepts and create slides detailing production needs to support concepts - Present concepts, budgets, and production solutions to clients - Support other production team members with knowledge of best practices for productions. - Stay up to date with technology and platforms to help ensure we are using the most efficient workflows. - Working with various teams to align video content with overall business goals. - Inspire team members with creative solutions for approaching productions or problem-solving. - Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the production process. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Journalism, or a related field. -OR- - 7+ years of professional video production experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and techniques. - Proven ability to tell compelling stories through video (both live-action and animation) - Proven ability to create budget estimates for video productions - Deep understanding of camera, lighting, and video production equipment. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Strong project management and time management skills. - Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects). - Experience working with social media platforms and video advertising best practices Core competencies: - A positive and optimistic outlook in the face of challenges and/or changing situations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal team members - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software Salary: $30k USD per year base + monthly reimbursement for internet and cell service.
