Job summary COTA Karting/Ride Mechanic (Part-Time) at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, TX. Ensure a positive company image by providing gracious, friendly and efficient customer service to both COTA guests and your fellow team members. Responsibilities - Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. - Ensure the safety of everyone by thoroughly cleaning all work areas often during your shift. - Follow department procedures to maintain inventory and process payment transactions. - Operate and sanitize all karting equipment according to company procedures. - Educate COTA guests on the entire karting experience with enthusiasm. - Work on and maintain go-karts and amusement rides. Requirements - Previous small engine repair experience preferred. - Strong work ethic and integrity. - Ability to follow instructions and procedures. - Ability to stand for long periods of time, in all weather conditions. - Working knowledge of a variety of shop tools. - Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department. - Ability to listen and communicate effectively. - Available for flexible scheduling to meet needs of the department.
