The Opportunity: Investment Analyst The firm is seeking high quality candidates with a strong interest in private equity to join an entrepreneurial and fast-growing investment firm. Reporting to the Managing Partners and working closely with all senior team members, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience across all facets of the firm's investment activities, including: Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, including: past and projected financial performance, industry dynamics, quality of management, investment merits and risks, exit outlook, expected returns, and other relevant factors Build comprehensive financial models, test assumptions and investigate sensitivities Perform valuation analysis, including customized DCF and LBO models, precedent transactions, comparable company analysis, and relative value compared with the benchmark Meet with general partner and company management to review past performance, strategy, outlook, industry outlook, and other applicable topics Work with third party advisors providing due diligence advice (legal, accounting, industry experts, etc.) Assist in drafting and presenting investment recommendations Support investment closing process Assist in proactive sourcing effort including opportunity screening and research Support fundraising, investor communications and general marketing activities Conduct market trends and research including market/competitor mapping and fund / product formation and launch Qualifications If you possess the following, we would like to hear from you: 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience Background in investment banking, investment management, and private equity highly valued Proficiency in written and spoken English (C1) Demonstrate strong knowledge, interest in investments, and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail Ability to think and work independently and creatively Strong research, analytical, financial modeling, valuation and problem solving skills Solid verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Knowledge of additional languages is not required but is an asset Fully remote set-up Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Finance and Sales Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confidential by 2x Get notified about new Investment Analyst jobs in Colombia .
