Are you an experienced leader looking for a new challenge? chief of party job summary we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our agricultural program in colombia as the chief of party (cop). the cop will be responsible for providing overall strategic, technical, and operational leadership for the program. the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing large-scale donor-funded agricultural or economic development programs, preferably in latin america. they will also have demonstrated experience with usda, usaid, or other usg-funded cooperative agreements or contracts. - main responsibilities: - provide overall leadership, management, and technical direction for the program, ensuring high-quality implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements. - serve as the primary point of contact with government agencies and represent the program to private sector actors and civil society organizations. - oversee the design and execution of interventions in cocoa and other value chains, focusing on productivity, market access, and financial facilitation. - lead the development and implementation of annual work plans, budgets, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks. - ensure integration of climate-smart agriculture, gender, and social inclusion across all program components. - supervise and mentor a diverse team of technical and operational staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and learning. - cultivate partnerships that support co-investment, sustainability, and scale. requirements - qu...
