Job overview the enterprise architecture team at scotiatech is responsible for designing, developing, and governing the global technology strategy for the bank. this role will work closely with technology teams across the bank to assess current capabilities, identify opportunities, and design future state operating models, capabilities, and implementation roadmaps. the architect will also assist in leading the execution of key technology initiatives working with teams across technology to ensure that the strategy becomes reality. responsibilities - champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - work with technology teams to understand current state gaps, future state capabilities needed, and industry landscape. - lead the prioritization and development of implementation roadmaps to address gaps and ensure solutions are in line with enterprise vision. - lead one or more large-scale technology initiatives from inception to execution working with technology teams across the bank. - work with teams to perform business analysis to develop viable business cases including initiative cost/benefit analysis, hardware/software costs, resource forecasting, financial analysis, excel modeling, and work with pivot tables. - support streams within a project or a project workstream, including leading problem-solving sessions, workshops, and interviews with cross-functional and business line working team members and subject matter experts. - stakeholder management - work closely with technical teams a...
