SENIOR HYDROLOGIC AND HYDRAULIC SPECIALIST - L-490

We are seeking a highly skilled hydrologic & hydraulic engineer to enhance our design capabilities within our water, hydraulic & drainage team in bogotá d.c. key responsibilities: - perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and designs for diverse projects. - develop floodplain, inundation, and stormwater models that meet industry standards. - conduct scour calculations and design mitigation measures to minimize risk. - design and assess linear infrastructure and site drainage systems to ensure compliance with project requirements. - execute stormwater runoff modeling and drainage design for urban and rural settings. - collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hydrologic and hydraulic solutions into broader project designs. - prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. - maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies in hydrology and hydraulic modeling. requirements: - a bachelor's degree in architecture or civil engineering or similar with more than 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. - minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. - proficiency in modeling software such as hec-ras (1d & 2d), hec-hms, swmm, arcgis, civil3d or similar tools. - strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in english and spanish. - a master's degree in a related field is an asset. - experience in international projects and working with multidisciplinary teams ...
