Job description as a technical illustrator, you will play a vital role in creating and delivering high-quality technical documentation for global field and depot service employees, as well as hospital bio-med customers. this position is responsible for driving the creation and delivery of service manuals and other technical instructions for surgical innovations, visualization, and lung health products/technologies. key responsibilities include: - creating visual elements, effects, and layouts used in technical documentation - drafting images and backgrounds with application of highly developed artistic skill, knowledge of mechanical movement, architecture, and feature representation - transforming engineering cad drawings into exploded view drawings for use in service and repair procedures using tools like solidworks composer, autocad, or creo illustrate - using cad outputs and written instructions to create animations - developing work product through fluent use of 2d packages such as the adobe creative suite - collaborating closely with internal company contacts to understand requirements required skills and qualifications to succeed in this role, you will need: - a baccalaureate degree in graphic design or illustration - two years of experience in graphic design or illustration (or equivalent with six years of experience) - fluent english language skills - expertise in microsoft office applications - able to work proficiently in the adobe creative suite applications - experience creating illustrations for service & repair for medical equipment, expertise in creo il...
