Title: senior antenna test engineer join a high-performance, technology-driven, mission-oriented team helping to protect our nation's national security. kbr is looking for talented individuals to become part of our team, and we are currently seeking a sr. antenna test engineer for our columbia, md support facility. position description: the senior antenna test engineer will perform all antenna, material, and environmental testing of antennas to meet tasking requirements utilizing a planar near field range, anechoic chamber, and environmental test chamber. the senior antenna test engineer will perform the following: 1. act as a technical resource for testing antennas on antenna ranges, including far-field, spherical, or planar nearfield systems. 2. develop and document test procedures and schedules associated with conducting antenna and material testing covering a wide frequency spectrum. analyze test results and provide formal test reports to customers. 3. conduct special studies and investigations related to project activities and recommend changes as appropriate to enhance efficiency and meet changed or new requirements. 4. train, direct, and assist other engineering personnel to ensure task objectives are completed on schedule. 5. serve as an organizational consultant regarding antenna performance measurements and materials testing. 6. design and modify antennas to meet customer requirements. 7. may support the installation and upgrade of antenna systems at field locations. 8. maintain electronic records library of test result data on completed customer testi...
