Job summary this is not a management-only position. this is for a builder, a doer, and a leader. sourcy inc. is a fast-scaling u.s. company with operations in medellín, combining colombian technical talent with u.s. market demand. we're launching an ai & automation division to deliver custom tools, automations, and software solutions for small businesses — and we need a cto who's ready to build it from the ground up. responsibilities - be hands-on from day one: you'll write code, build systems, deploy ai tools, and deliver solutions yourself until the team grows - lead the development of custom ai/llm tools, crm integrations, bots, and automation workflows using tools like openai, langchain, zapier, and gohighlevel - manage and build full-stack systems — from back-end logic to front-end delivery - collaborate with the ceo to turn prototypes into paid client deliverables - set the technical roadmap, build documentation, and create systems that scale - own the ai/automation department's revenue goals and help close deals by translating technical capabilities into business outcomes - recruit, vet, and onboard additional engineers as we grow qualifications - you live in medellín (or can relocate) and are ready to work in-person - you've built and deployed custom ai tools (agents, automations, fine-tuned models, custom gpts, etc.) - you're a full-stack developer who can architect and implement projects end-to-end - you understand crm platforms, apis, automations, and workflow tools - you've delivered real value to clients and are comfortable discussing outcomes, timelines, ...
