A leading insurance company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide the financial future and support our growth. Mission Ensure financial sustainability and scalability by leading financial strategy with a long-term vision and driving efficiency. Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement the global financial strategy aligned with growth goals. Serve as an advisor to the Co-CEOs and Executive Board. Foster a data- and results-oriented culture, pursuing ambitious growth while maintaining stability. Planning, Control & Reporting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Provide clear financial reporting to stakeholders. Oversee accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and regulatory reporting. Business Partnering & Scalability: Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and growth teams to guide strategic decisions. Evaluate new business opportunities, optimize costs, automate processes, and enhance financial management. Financial Operations & Controls: Oversee settlement and reconciliation processes with insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage monthly financial reconciliations with partners. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations. Develop risk management frameworks. Uphold integrity, ethics, and transparency across finance functions. Requirements 5+ years in senior finance roles, preferably in scaleups, insurtechs, or digital-first companies. Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, analysis, and strategic planning. Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Analytical, proactive, collaborative, with a global outlook. Ability to lead through uncertainty and build high-performing finance teams. Schedule & Location Full-time, flexible hours (7.5 hours/day). 100% remote, based in Barcelona (candidates must be Spanish residents with legal work authorization).
