Debt Recovery Professional This is a dynamic expansion of our Finance team in Bogotá, Colombia—our largest engineering hub in the Americas. We are looking for a professional to manage a portfolio of complex and strategic customer accounts. The primary focus will be on recovering outstanding debts from individuals and businesses, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Responsibilities include resolving payment issues, addressing customer requests within the assigned portfolio or territory, providing requested data to clients and internal departments, researching payments and unallocated cash, contacting clients to follow up on overdue payments, and overseeing all transversal reporting requirements for the team. In this role you'll execute dunning procedures by reviewing exclusion proposals, sending dunning letters, implementing credit holds, initiating suspension, reactivation, and termination of services as deemed appropriate from customer actions on outstanding debt. You'll also answer customer questions, provide invoice copies and contracts as necessary to facilitate customer payment, work with customers by phone and email to get remittance details, reconcile payment discrepancies, request corrective actions to decrease aging and increase cash flow, identify unapplied payments, recommend adjustments or refunds as appropriate, collaborate with billing and other internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues that prevent them from paying, conduct calls with respective sales managers and customer accounts payable to review outstanding debt and resolve issues that may hinder payment of invoices, and provide backup support to respective collection team members as needed. As a key member of our Finance team, you'll analyze deviations of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a month-to-month basis and identify continuous improvement ideas to increase efficiency of the Accounts Receivable process.
