Job Title: Research Administration Specialist About the Job: This position serves as a team leader, overseeing the day-to-day activities in research administration. The role involves working with faculty, trainees, and staff to gather, manage, and analyze award data from various revenue streams. This includes federal grants, private grants, gifts, and other funding sources. The position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining research data associated with research awards. Key Responsibilities: - 60% - Research Administration and Project Management - 25% - Staff Supervision - 10% - Strategic Planning and Facilities - 5% - Backup Support Required Skills and Qualifications: This position requires broad knowledge and experience in budget preparation, analysis, and forecasting with the ability to control complex budgets. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in research administration, advanced experience in pre-award processes, coordinating and executing grant and contract submissions across various funding agencies. Additionally, proficiency with electronic grant applications such as eRA Commons, MyNCBI, CayuseSP, Cayuse424, ProposalCentral, FastLane, and other online portals is necessary.
