Construction Design Manager We are seeking an experienced Construction Design Manager to lead and coordinate the design function for high-profile construction projects in the UAE. This role involves managing all design deliverables, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution in collaboration with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams. - Manage and coordinate design activities between client, construction, and consultants. - Oversee design documentation, submittals, approvals, and ensure alignment with contractual and program requirements. - Monitor and report on design progress; lead weekly/monthly reporting. - Evaluate technical compliance, review calculations and shop drawings (structural, rebar, BSS, MEP). - Authorize material submittals, invoices, and design change documentation. - Ccoordinate with authorities for NOC and support submissions. - Lead, motivate, and delegate within the design team; oversee document control and QA/QC. - Support project delivery by aligning design with planning, procurement, and site operations. The ideal candidate will have: - A degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Minimum 10 years' experience in construction design management. - Proficiency in design tools (STAAD, Prokon, ETABS, AutoCAD). - Strong MS Office and Adobe Acrobat skills. - Proven leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
