Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the International Technology CCA by ensuring that specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Accountabilities - Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - Promotes a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. - Collaborates closely with all units within the Business Line, business/country users, and team members to understand business processes and user requirements, driving the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. - Participates in system implementation by defining business requirements and processes, developing test strategies and cases, performing testing (identifying, evaluating, escalating, resolving problems, and supporting team members), defining user procedures and workflows, developing conversion and implementation strategies, verifying conversion, providing user documentation, training, and post-implementation support. - Engages in the full development lifecycle of business solutions by analyzing and clearly defining user requirements, assisting in test case development and testing, and supporting user documentation, training, and post-implementation activities. - Develops cost-effective and efficient applications to meet business objectives by analyzing user requirements, providing technical specifications, designing, and maintaining programs according to standards, ensuring high availability, integrity, and reliability to mitigate risks. - Implements new systems or enhancements by reviewing team-written programs, establishing and executing system tests, developing implementation plans, documenting programs and systems, and providing post-implementation support and training to operations staff. - Provides technical guidance and reviews to team members through walkthroughs. - Stays current with technological trends, self-educates on new technologies, and understands the division’s business and technology strategies. - Independently resolves complex problems to meet business needs by applying financial, business, and technological knowledge, involving research, analysis, and liaising with users. - Manages multiple small projects or leads sections of large projects, including planning, scheduling, resource management, progress monitoring, and securing stakeholder consensus. - May include tracking work assignments, status reporting, and configuring automation test cases. - Provides off-hours support for Regulatory Reports tasks if required. - Supports application users and production environments through troubleshooting, training, and issue resolution. - Maintains production servers, including patching, vulnerability remediation, and performance management. - Supervises junior staff, supports project leaders, and assists in developing detailed work plans and monitoring progress. - Considers the bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions. - Ensures operational efficiency and compliance with the bank’s values, conduct, and risk management policies, including operational, compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risks. Reporting Relationships Primary Manager: Software Engineer Lead Direct Reports: None Shared Reports (solid/dotted if applicable): Dotted line in Bogota CCA Director Dimensions The incumbent is responsible for supporting the following: - Results-focused and customer-focused work - High-performance and inclusive teamwork - Management of tasks, training, and leadership roles - Understanding of applications and data from business, functional, and technical perspectives - Designing clear architectures and functionalities - Development, testing, documentation, implementation, and post-implementation support - User and application support, including security and risk requirements Education / Experience / Other Information - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications in project management, Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Product Owner) preferred - 1-3 years of relevant experience - Experience with strict Change Management Policies (ITIL Foundations) - Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration and support - Experience with Command/PowerShell scripting - Data analysis skills using Excel/PivotTables - Experience with log/event analysis and tools like Dynatrace - Experience in maintaining stable IT systems - Knowledge of patch management for Linux/Windows/Oracle/MS SQL # LI - Hybrid #J-18808-Ljbffr
