Commercial Assistant Remote, COLOMBIA Position Overview: Detail-oriented and organized Commercial Assistant Jr to support a U.S.-based sales and operations team. This fully remote position plays a key role in ensuring that client data and documents are accurate, complete, and ready for internal processing. Your work will directly support quoting, underwriting, and the overall sales process. Responsibilities: ● Data Entry & Template Preparation: Receive and organize employee data from clients into standardized Excel templates. This ensures internal teams have clean, usable information for quoting and analysis. ● Identify and Flag Missing Information: Review files for gaps or inconsistencies (e.g., missing birthdates, zip codes, plan details) and compile clear, actionable lists for follow-up. ● Data Verification Across Sources: Compare multiple documents (e.g., census files and invoices) to confirm alignment. Flag any discrepancies for the sales team to resolve. ● Sales Team Support: Maintain clear, professional communication with sales representatives to clarify issues and request missing data. Provide concise summaries to keep the process moving efficiently. ● Template Assistance (e.g., Workers’ Comp): Help complete additional Excel-based templates, such as workers' compensation summaries. Use tools like pivot tables and basic formulas to process and organize data. ● Document Review: Ensure that required supporting documents (such as insurance records or risk reports) are complete and meet submission standards before passing them to the next team. ● CRM Updates & Task Tracking: Use platforms like Salesforce to track deal progress, document statuses, and communication history. Keeping this system up to date ensures visibility and accountability across the team.
