The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with analysis and insight of Citi’s local financial results and regulations (mainly capital and LLL) in coordination with the broader Finance team. **Responsibilities**: - Address strategic issues on an ad hoc basis that are complementary to the regular planning and analysis processes. Perform analytical review of franchise performance in order to add value to the end users, explain trends and investigate unusual variances linking back into the various strategies or plans of the respective businesses - Main coordinator of stress tests local / corporate. Capital analysis and optimization - Main coordinator of rating agencies periodic review - Participate in the estimates of net income (pre-provision net revenue, PPNR), analysis and comprehensive review of capital (CCAR) of the annual plan, in the 3-year stress test local and in forecasting monthly estimates. - Performs benchmark analysis both internal and external to drive business insights and advise opportunities. Competitive landscape analysis and market assessment - Generate flash results/highlights for Board of Directors’ reports and Executive Management reports - Oversee the estimation of risk capital and incorporate results into management report metrics for decision processes - Contribute to the development of review material for internal leadership and external regulator reviews - Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. - Contribute to understand and estimate the impact of regulatory changes regarding capital and LLL - Responsible of management of vendors for stress test local, ratings agencies and other vendor for FP&A; CO **Qualifications**: - 5-8 years of experience with strong knowledge of local banking regulation with emphasis on regulatory capital and Legal Lending Limits - Demonstrated presentation skills - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Fluent in English and Spanish **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
