Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development professional to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and expand market presence in the Dutch Caribbean. This key role is responsible for leading and coordinating the company's sales, marketing, and distribution efforts, ensuring strategic alignment with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics, inventory planning, and customer relationship management, with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. They will be able to build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, promote high standards of customer service, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve business goals. This dynamic and results-driven professional will report directly to the General Manager and play a pivotal role in driving business success in the region. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry, with a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Strategy & Market Development: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with short-, mid-, and long-term business goals. - Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging customer needs. - Identify and acquire new clients to grow the company's customer base and revenue streams. - Distribution & Logistics Optimization: - Design, implement, and refine distribution policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and market penetration. - Continuously improve delivery routes and vehicle performance in coordination with logistics and maintenance teams. - Oversee the use, maintenance, and performance reporting of distribution vehicles and merchandising equipment. - Customer Relationship Management: - Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients to support their growth and drive customer loyalty. - Promote high standards of customer service across all customer-facing teams. - Marketing & Brand Promotion: - Plan and execute marketing campaigns, in-store activations, and product line expansions to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. - Ensure compliance with branding standards and food safety regulations across all marketing, distribution, and merchandising channels. - Inventory & Demand Planning: - Monitor sales trends, seasonal demand, and special events to recommend optimal stock levels and support procurement decisions. - Align inventory strategies with sales and distribution goals to avoid shortages or overstock. - Operational Efficiency & Quality Compliance: - Design and execute efficient distribution programs while ensuring the proper use of resources across all channels. - Maintain full compliance with internal quality standards and procedures within the sales, marketing, and logistics functions. - Team Conduct & Leadership: - Lead by example to promote a culture of professionalism, ethical behavior, and accountability across all teams, including sales, merchandising, and maintenance. - Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across departments.
