As a seasoned sales leader, you will have the opportunity to spearhead the development and execution of a global sales strategy for our client's telecom SaaS services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in sales roles within the telecom industry, with experience in selling SaaS-based or managed services. Commercial leadership experience is also essential, with evidence of consistently meeting or exceeding targets. A basic understanding of financial principles, pricing strategies, and revenue planning is required. Proficiency with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and strategic account planning is also necessary. Fluency in English is mandatory, with fluency in French and/or Spanish being a requirement for this role. Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity to lead the organisation's global sales team, driving business growth through the development and execution of sales strategies, tactical plans, and targeted activities that attract, convert, and retain high-value clients across multiple territories. In addition to direct business development responsibilities, you will be responsible for leading a small, experienced sales team—setting the standard for high performance, accurate forecasting, and consistent results. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute the global sales strategy, aligning it with the company's commercial goals. - Personally lead sales efforts across strategic accounts while supporting the growth of the wider sales team. - Identify and convert new business opportunities using market insight, personal network, and collaboration with internal teams. - Build strong relationships with existing clients to maximise account value and identify upselling opportunities. - Create and maintain accurate territory/customer plans, forecasts, and reporting mechanisms. - Deliver accurate forecasting and sales performance reviews, driving accountability and results. - Lead go-to-market and marketing initiatives in alignment with business development priorities. - Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to inform strategic direction. - Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with customers and procurement teams. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, finance, operations) to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded. Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of experience in the telecom roaming industry, with a proven track record in sales roles for service providers. - Strong knowledge of roaming services, particularly data and financial clearing processes, and the end-to-end wholesale roaming lifecycle. - Experience selling SaaS-based or managed services within telecoms or network operators. - Commercial leadership experience with evidence of meeting or exceeding targets consistently. - Basic understanding of financial principles, pricing strategies, and revenue planning. - Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), sales forecasting, and strategic account planning. - Fluent in English; fluency in French and/or Spanish is mandatory.
