Job Description The Cloud AppOps role involves the following duties: - Perform operational duties including application server health monitoring and service recycling. - Identify and resolve operational issues such as batch failures, network issues, and client data feed errors. - Monitor server performance, memory utilization, CPU, file systems, databases, and batch jobs. - Maintain operational documentation, including incident tracking and run books. - Produce metric reports, including daily production status. - Review client support tickets and requests under service SLAs. - Resolve level 2 and level 3 issues related to application support, databases, and data center operations. Document issues in the customer support portal. - Provide on-call support during off-hours and work during non-prime shifts. Qualifications - At least 2 years of application and production support experience in cloud-based hosting administration, management, and performance tuning under high-availability SLA environments. - Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. - Knowledge of ETL processes is advantageous. - Proficiency with Unix, Linux, Windows, Tomcat, SSH, and basic scripting. - Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. - Understanding of complex process and data flows. - Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal stakeholders and customers. - Experience with application debugging, performance optimization, and scalability. - Familiarity with application security best practices. - Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. - Capacity to multi-task and provide rapid support in production environments. - Availability to provide on-call support during non-prime hours. - Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher).
