Within the Cloud Infrastructure team, we are ensuring that our Data Science teams have all the technology assets they need to perform their duties and that our Big Data environment is secure and has an up time of 99.99999%. As a Cloud Engineer you will contribute to the success of our team thru the development of new automation and maintenance of existing ones for which you will ensure their compliance with security policies. As well you will help maintain and deploy infrastructure elements. We offer an international experience, collaborative culture, top rate experience in AI and ML and opportunity to create significant real-world impact. **What you will do** - Build internal services and systems with embedded automation. - Enhance and maintain existing services. - Create platform agnostic services. - Create, maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure elements. - Identify and automate manual processes. - Implement monitoring tools using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or similar. - Participate in DevOps Game Day events. - Assist with and own remediation of escalated security events and incidents. - Participate in Cyber Security Reviews and ensure compliance with the privacy office recommendations. - Implementation Security and Compliance Policies and Standards, Disaster Recovery Plans, Data and Information Backup and Recovery Guidelines. **What you will need**: - Bachelor’s in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field - 2+ years on a similar role. - Ability to work under pressure as well as in autonomous mode. - You have strong problem-solving skills and you can lead complex projects. - Experience operating cloud-based infrastructures (AWS). - Experience with container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS - Experience with IaC frameworks such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Puppet. - Work experience in CI/CD environments - Experience with Linux Operating Systems - Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, Node.js, Bash, Go. - Experience in working with AWS services such as IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, S3, EC2, VPC, RDS. - Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. - Experience in deploying REST API services. - Experience in maintaining the security of cloud environments (AWS). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills directed to technical and non-technical team members. **Nice to have**: - Experience with Could SQL & NoSQL databases. - Solid knowledge of cyber security standards and frameworks. - Experience on implementing disaster recovery solutions. **Who We Are** At HP, we believe in the power of ideas.
