Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the Information Technology & Solutions (IT&S;) globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Accountabilities - Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - Works closely with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. - Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. - Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. - Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design; performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. - Provides guidance and training to less experienced analysts and programmers. - Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. - Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team. Education / Experience / Other Information - Computer Science Diploma or Degree; or related work experience. - ITIL Foundation certification or training - Service Now Advanced System Administrator certified or training (nice to have) - Service Now Scripting certification or training. - Possess in-depth knowledge of a single large or multiple small applications. - Has experience in systems design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. (Java Script) - Good communication skills - Good time management skills to work on multiple assignments. - Ability to do research and development of new ways to leverage the Service Now platform. - Ability to work on systems integration projects. - Ability to troubleshoot issues independently #LI-Hybrid
