About the Role We are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to join our dynamic team and accelerate the deployment of customer solutions based on innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development and sales, with expertise in hardware businesses and the ability to interface with a wide range of US and international customers. - Generate and capture business opportunities by identifying, pursuing, and shaping future opportunities, growing a deep understanding of the existing and prospective client base, and being cognizant of the current and changing competitive landscape. - Grow existing business by partnering with the broader sales and product team across business lines to identify opportunities for growth with current clients. - Communicate our value by projecting the company's ethos, conveying insights that illustrate our approach to building next-generation digital manufacturing solutions and our competitive edges in doing so. - Inform product development by translating client problem sets into actionable internal plans, interpreting and conveying various client needs to the growth and engineering teams, and helping to inform and manage priorities and execution. Requirements - 7+ years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in hardware businesses. - Demonstrated strong writing and oral communication skills, with experience in writing white papers, technical reports, and proposals. - Ability to interface with a wide range of US and international customers, including travel up to 50%.
