Launch Operations Manager Join our team as a Launch Operations Manager and take on the challenge of leading our global distributed team to drive delivery excellence. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. - Develop and refine delivery lifecycles across pods, ensuring seamless alignment with customer needs and support functions. - Partner with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that enhance team velocity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. - Manage and guide a team of ~30 people, including 5 pod leads, providing coaching, mentorship, and career growth opportunities. - Represent Launch Operations in planning, roadmapping, and alignment meetings, driving strategic decision-making and goal-setting. Responsibilities: Delivery Leadership (40%) - Drive delivery forecasting, track velocity trends, and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement process enhancements, promoting automation and efficiency. - Lead retrospectives, triage sessions, and release coordination to optimize delivery outcomes. - Build strong relationships with Professional Services and Customer Support teams to ensure aligned priorities and interfaces. People Leadership (20%) - Cultivate a psychologically safe, empowering team culture that supports wellbeing and development. - Set shared goals and build career paths for configuration engineers and team leads, fostering growth and advancement. - Coach, mentor, and uplift team members, providing guidance and support throughout their careers. Cross-Functional Alignment (30%) - Partner with Product, Engineering, and other teams to ensure readiness for new features and scalable delivery. - Align with customer-facing and technical teams on shared goals and service levels, driving collaborative success. - Drive initiatives to reduce support workload through automation and self-service, improving overall efficiency. Technical Contribution (10%) - Contribute to the development of internal tooling, dashboards, and automation initiatives. - Lead or co-create documentation, playbooks, and shared processes that support wider teams, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. Requirements: - Experience leading technical delivery or project management teams in dynamic, customer-centric settings. - Familiarity with configuration, platform launch, or product deployment workflows. - Strong collaborator with a talent for uniting stakeholders around shared delivery goals. - Passionate about improving workflows and applying automation to support teams and reduce manual effort.
