Accounting and Finance Professional We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting and Finance Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, contacting customers regarding open invoices and billing disputes, and ensuring proper documentation in Oracle pertaining to the calls and efforts made to collect and resolve issues. - Key Responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of accounts on a month-over-month basis to minimize delinquency rates and achieve target results set by management. - Contact customers via phone and email regarding open invoices and billing disputes. - Identify issues causing delay in payment and ensure timely resolution. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in Oracle pertaining to the calls and efforts made to collect and resolve issues. - Work closely with district, area, division, and corporate teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. - Escalate collection issues to supervisor and/or director when necessary. - Gain a comprehensive understanding of various collections systems. - Knowledge and adherence to company policies and procedures - department and company standards. - Perform collections department projects as directed by management. - Requirements: - Degree in Business or Finance. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented and organized. - Intermediate level ability with commonly used software; Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Internet Browsers. - Strong typing skills. - Problem-solving skills which require exercising independent judgment. - Clear criminal reference check. - Previous call center/collections experience is required.
