Purpose The Enterprise Architecture team is an exciting team with the mandate to design, develop, govern and drive the global technology strategy for the Bank. The Team This role will work closely with technology teams across the Bank and have exposure to senior executives, business line leaders, and stakeholders to assess current capabilities, identify opportunities, and design future state operating model, capabilities, and implementation roadmaps. The Role This architect will assist in leading the execution of key technology initiatives working with teams across technology to ensure that the strategy becomes reality. Key Accountabilities: - Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - Develop strategy to address current gaps and future state capabilities needed. - Lead the prioritization and development of implementation roadmaps to address gaps and ensure solutions are in line with enterprise vision. - Lead large-scale technology initiatives from inception to execution working with technology teams across the Bank. - Work with teams to perform business analysis to develop viable business cases including initiative cost/benefit analysis, hardware/software costs, resource forecasting, financial analysis, excel modeling, and pivot tables. - Support streams within a project or a project workstream, including leading problem-solving sessions, workshops, and interviews with cross-functional and business line working team members and subject matter experts. - Manage stakeholder expectations by ensuring technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget forecasts, and deliver value identified at inception. - Collaborate with non-technology teams including business lines, HR, Finance, and Risk to ensure technology initiatives are meeting business needs and integrated within the bank effectively. Requirements: - Background in Technology development or delivery preferred. - Experience in management consulting or corporate strategy or technology delivery/architecture is an asset. - Able to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment. - Superior interpersonal skills, leadership, and influential capabilities. - Self-motivated; work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams, as both a leader and member. - Good knowledge of specific technology challenges relevant to Banking industry with a sound understanding of current banking business trends and their implications for technology. - Superior planning and analytical skills, ability to discern research information/data and focus on critical business issues. - Superior presentation and written communication skills. - Undergraduate degree in business or engineering; graduate business degree/MBA is a strong asset. Working Conditions: - Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
