Key Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the overall success of our HR Services Operations team in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Accountabilities Include: - Championing a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - Processing job and employee data changes in HR systems throughout the employee lifecycle events. - Ensuring data accuracy and integrity of employee records and position management changes through established internal control mechanisms. - Responding to inquiries pertaining to position management and employee lifecycle events and answering escalated issues from different stakeholders. - Understanding how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Actively pursuing effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles. Requirements Include: - Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources or Business or pursuing an education in a related field. - Advanced and Fluent level - B2 English Communication skills. - Relevant experience in resolving customer service requests. - Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes. - Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures. - Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity. - Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. - Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities. - Experience with transaction processing and data management. - Experience in conflict/issue resolution. - Strong computer application skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat is considered an asset. Working Conditions: The successful candidate will work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
