As a Bilingual Medical Receptionist , you’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and top-notch service for all patients. In this remote role, you’ll manage front-office tasks using a modern electronic medical records system while supporting patient care. Responsibilities: Warmly greet and assist patients by answering incoming calls with a friendly, professional demeanor. Efficiently manage the appointment scheduling system to optimize the clinic’s calendar and ensure timely patient care. Serve as a language bridge for Spanish-speaking patients, providing clear communication and exceptional service. Process incoming documents through the fax console and accurately file them in the appropriate patient charts. Manage the clinic’s email communications, filtering out spam while promptly handling important patient information, such as insurance cards. Maintain meticulous documentation within the electronic medical records system, ensuring accurate patient records. Collaborate with the in-office team to ensure seamless patient flow and communication. Requirements: Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal communication skills. Clear, neutral English accent for effective communication with all patients. Availability to work during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new healthcare software. Professional, compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help patients. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations (training provided). Previous medical office experience is a plus but not required – we’re happy to train the right candidate!
