As a key member of our store staff, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and well-stocked store environment, and unloading merchandise from delivery trucks. Main Responsibilities - Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with selection of merchandise, complete transactions, and answer questions about products and store operations. - Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks and stocking shelves. - Merchandise Handling: Transport merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and recover merchandise on the sales floor. - Cash Handling: Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the point-of-sale system. - Store Safety: Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of customer activity and reporting any incidents or concerns. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: - Education: Preferably completion of high school or equivalent. - Communication Skills: Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. - Experience: Preferably experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. - Physical Abilities: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs and occasionally up to 55lbs from floor level to above shoulder height. - Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
