About this Opportunity This exciting role at ScotiaTech requires a highly skilled individual to work as a Technology Control Testing Strategist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT Control Testing, Auditory, Risk Management, or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance). They will be responsible for leading internal control reviews of high-risk processes, including procedure testing, establishing test plans, and providing recommendations. About the Job - The successful candidate will report to the Head of Technology Control Testing and will be responsible for leading a team to assess high-risk processes across business lines and manage the execution of control test exercises. - They will identify and test design and operating effectiveness attributes for IT General controls and automated controls. - Additionally, they will lead and/or manage IT General controls and automated control walkthroughs and assess controls for effectiveness. - They will advise and support risk owners in day-to-day risk management activities and execution.
